Invisalign®
Our practice does not use or endorse the Invisalign® method. Although it is a neat sounding idea in theory, and well marketed by the company, in Dr. Lawrence’s opinion it doesn’t deliver consistent results in clinical practice. The scope of problems it can address are limited, and the results are almost always inferior to what can be achieved with braces. And, at a price that usually exceeds treatment with braces!! This invariably results in frustration for the Invisalign® patient who has endured months to years of keeping track of their aligners at every meal, snack and beverage, and then to have paid thousands of dollars for a less than acceptable orthodontic result. And all that just to be informed that their result is the ‘best that can be done with Invisalign®.’
